Jaydeep Ghosh

The India Art Fair 2015 came to an end on the February 1 with a special exhibit commissioned for its closing party. It was Chand LC—Le Corbusier’s Chandigarh of the 1950s curated by renowned interior designer and architect, Ashiesh Shah. The grand party was co-hosted by Shah and Kalyani Saha of Christian Dior at the Le Meridien.

The exhibition had never-seen-before drawings, photographs and furniture from Corbusier’s Chandigarh and saw in attendance MN Sharma, who is now 92 and the last surviving member of Le Corbusier’s team in Chandigarh.

Bollywood glamour graced the closing party. We saw the beautiful Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal. They are coming together in a movie titled Roy. Mehr Jessia Rampal too was there with Arjun, which is a pretty rare sight these days. Others spotted were J J Valaya, Sara Abdullah and FDCI President Sunil Sethi.
