India’s ace spinner Harbhajan Singh who mastered the art of bowling Doosra on the cricket fields was bowled over by Bollywood actress Geeta Basra and the two finally tied the knot on Thursday.
The celebrations started in Delhi with Harbhajan and Geeta hosting a cocktail bash and moved on to Jalandhar were the longtime beaus took the vow as husband and wife in a gurdwara. A big bash is due in Mumbai too.
The cocktail partty was full-on Punjabi style, where singer Gurdas Maan got the night grooving with his lilting Punjabi folk songs and then Mika took it to a crescendo with his hit filmy chartbusters. Bhajji and Geeta too hit the floor and danced the night away.
The wedding at Jalandhar had Sachin Tendulkar in attendance, and Geeta in a red lehenga and Bhajji in a white sherwani made a great looking couple.
