Terror Suspects Released

The Special Cell released four of them after questioning and de-radicalising them through the help of an NGO.

The anti-terror unit of Delhi Police—Special Cell—released four of the ten terror suspects, who it had detained for alleged ideological leaning towards Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), after de-radicalising them. 

The Special Cell released four of them on Saturday, after questioning and de-radicalising them through the help of a non-government organisation. Of the four, three are residents of East Delhi’s Chand Bagh locality and the other is from Ghaziabad’s Loni area. They were let off from the Special Cell’s Lodhi Colony office on Saturday.  Delhi Police arrested three youths and recovered Improvised Explosive Device from them. As many as 13 were picked up by the Special Cell after a late night operation.
