Manipur Violence: State Minister Nemcha Kipgen's residence set on fire; Internet ban extended

A mob burned down the official residence of Manipur minister Nemcha Kipgen in Imphal West as fresh violence erupted in the strife-hit state. Fortunately, nobody from the minister's house was at home when the violent crowd set the house on fire. Security forces have launched a search operation to crack down on those involved. Earlier, at least nine people were killed and 10 injured in a village in the Khamenlok area of ethnic-clash hit Manipur.
