Kerala reports sixth death from Amoebic meningoencephalitis

A sixth fatality was reported from amoebic meningoencephalitis, caused by brain-eating amoeba, in Kerala. Shaji from Malappuram district died at Kozhikode Medical College on Thursday The infection is primarily caused by amoebae present in contaminated water.
