Arunachal Pradesh: 7 out of 19 construction workers who went missing near China border rescued

Nineteen construction labourers from Assam went missing after they fled their camp near the China border in Kurung Kumey district of Arunachal Pradesh on July 5. They had fled their camp at Huri after being denied permission to go home and celebrate Eid. On July 22, seven of the 19 workers were traced and rescued. District Magistrate Nighee Bengia said the search operation to rescue the remaining workers is underway. They are kept at the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) camp.
