Thousands participate in Tribal Solidarity March in Manipur
Thousands of people took part in the 'Tribal Solidarity March' called by a student body in Manipur. They raised slogans opposing the demand for ST status for the Meitei community. The Meiteis inhabit the Manipur valley, which constitutes about 10% of the area of the state.
