Casting couch, sexual harassment in Mollywood exposed by Justice Hema Committee Report

The Kerala government has released the 233-page Justice K Hema Committee Report on the problems faced by women in the Malayalam film industry. The report is based on the testimonies of at least 51 professionals including actors and technicians in Mollywood. It also goes on to highlight grave issues such as casting couch, sexual harassment, pay disparities, lack of privacy, and inadequate facilities for women in the field.
