A heated exchange between Tamil Nadu CM Stalin and Governor R N Ravi unfolded over the omission of the 'Dravida' word from the state anthem of ‘Tamizh Thaai Vaazhthu’, on October 18. The state song was sung at an event of the Doordarshan Tamil channel's Hindi month valedictory function, where Governor Ravi was the chief guest.
