On September 14, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee met protesting doctors at Swasthya Bhawan, Salt Lake. She made an emotional appeal to the protesting doctors to resume work. The TMC chief assured the protesters that she would take action against those who will be found guilty in the investigation of the R G Kar doctor rape and murder case.
