Congress's Naveen Yadav wins big in Telangana Jubilee Hills bypolls by 24729 votes

Congress’s V Naveen Yadav (backed by AIMIM) won in the Jubilee Hills bypolls. He won by a comfortable margin of 24729 votes on November 14. The 41-year-old defeated the nearest rival BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha. The seat for Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency 61 became vacant after Sunitha's husband and BRS MLA Gopinath Maganti passed away on June 8. Naveen Yadav finally secured victory as an MLA after multiple setbacks since 2009.
