Pfizer's Covid vaccine safe, effective for kids aged between 5 and 11: FDA

U.S. health regulators said on October 22, 2021, that Pfizer's low-dose Covid vaccine is safe and nearly 91% effective against symptomatic infection in elementary school children. Once authorised, almost 28 million children in the US can start getting vaccinated against COVID-19 from early November.
