People protests in Shanghai against China's zero-Covid policy

Massive protests erupted in China against Xi Jinping's "zero-covid policy" in Shanghai late on Nov 26. The protests were sparked by a major fire in Urumqi, capital of Xinjiang region, where 10 people died. Many internet users have surmised that the residents of the high-rise building could not escape in time because the building was partially locked down.
