On 8th of September, the youth of Nepal took to the streets in protest against the Government's decision to ban 26 popular websites and messaging apps. This protest is called the Gen-Z protest. The Gen z protest is not the first of its kind; many countries, such as Nigeria, Iran, and Indonesia, have conducted such demonstrations in the past. However, nobody in Nepal expected it to turn into the country's deadliest unrest in years.
