Iran protests: Over 3000 people killed, Trump says killings have stopped

At least 3,428 protestors have been killed amid the crackdown on protests in Iran. Iran's foreign minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi called external affairs minister S Jaishankar to discuss the current situation. The minister also confirmed to Fox news that no hangings of the protestors will take place

The Iranian authorities warned the US and Israel of retaliation if they intervened in the unrest. Trump told the media that he has been informed by Iranian authoities that 'all the killings have been stopped'. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also remarked about how 'grim' things are in Iran right now
