BRUSSELS: The eurozone approved the latest 8.5 billion euros bailout disbursement to Greece on Friday, just in time for Athens to meet major debt repayments and avert default.
"The ESM Board of Directors just approved the 3rd tranche of €8.5bn of ESM financial assistance to Greece, details will follow in press release," the eurozone's European Stability Mechanism bailout fund tweeted.
