A Peruvian man who was looking up for the best way to reach a popular bridge in Lima, the capital of Peru, was in for a surprise when he spotted his wife in one of the Google Street View photos.
The photo showed the woman sitting on a park bench, stroking the hair of a man who was lying down with his head on her lap, according to foreign media reports.
The photo is said to have been captured in 2013. Upon confrontation, the woman admitted to having had an affair in the past.
Local media reports say that the man divorced his wife later. He also shared the photographs on social media which attracted a lot of hate comments against the woman for not being true to him.
Google street view vehicles capture locations all over the world with 306-degree cameras. This has resulted in capturing some funny and bizarre moments on camera including an armed robbery in South Africa, which was captured from several different angles, an image of an abandoned baby outside a luxury shopping mall, people wearing penguin masks in Japan, a cycling pigeon, etc.
What is Google Street View?
Google clicks pictures of various places with the help of hi-tech cameras mounted on cars, trolleys, cycles, backpacks. The search engine then uses these images and signals to stitch together a 360-degree, 3D model of the places so that the user can just click and drag to explore the places.
Google Street View can be accessed from desktops or from dedicated apps made for iPhones and Android phones.
