E-commerce giant Amazon's cloud computing facility in Bahrain sustained damages after an Iranian strike, Financial Times reported on Wednesday.

Bahrain's internal ministry earlier in the day said a fire broke out at a business facility "as a result of the Iranian aggression," without specifying which company or the extent of the damage.

The attack came a day after Iran's Revolutionary Guards warned US owned firms that their units in the region would be attacked in response to every targeted assassination of Iranian leaders.

"These companies, starting from 8:00 pm (1630 GMT) Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1, should expect the destruction of their relevant units in exchange for every assassination in Iran," the Guards said in a statement on Tuesday, listing the names of 18 companies it alleged were complicit in the "targeted assassination" of officials.

"We advise the employees of these institutions to immediately leave their workplaces to preserve their lives," it added.

Iran on Wednesday continued attacks on its neighbours hosting US and Israeli military assets with Kuwait international airport reporting a drone attack that led to "a large fire" at a fuel depot, according to the civil aviation authority.

A tanker was also hit off Qatar, a British maritime security agency said.
