Two Die in Accidents

BENGALURU: Two private company employees, including a software engineer, were killed in separate road accidents in the city on Monday night. Akash (28), a software engineer and a resident of Banashankari, died after a truck heading towards Mysuru rammed into his motorcycle in Kengeri.

Akash was returning home from work when the accident occurred. Passersby took him to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries. In the second accident, 44-year-old Mahesh died after a truck rammed into his two-wheeler near the Raithara Santhe underpass near Yelahanka. Mahesh, a resident of Yelahanka New Town,  was returning home when the accident occurred happened. In both cases, the drivers of the trucks abandoned their vehicles and fled.
