Politician Yogeshwar’s daughter Nisha Yogeshwar, who was to make her Sandalwood debut opposite Challenging Star Darshan in Ambareesha, has been shown the door, if sources in the industry are to be believed.
While the makers of the film are tight-lipped about this latest development, sources close to the project stated that the reason for Nisha's expulsion was her poor acting skill. The hopeful debutante had completed 10 days of the shoot and had injured her leg while jogging.
If sources are to be believed, Rachita Ram, who worked with Darshan in Bulbul, has been approached and she will replace Nisha.
This trend of heroine-swapping is not new to Sandalwood, especially with Darshan’s films. The star’s last film, Brindaavana had faced a similar situation.
Initially, Vedika was roped in to play an important role in the film. But then she was replaced by Mukhta aka Bhanu. Later when even Bhanu did not fit the bill, Milana Nagaraj was finally brought into the picture.
