MUMBAI: Mumbai's Formula One fans would have a feast to look forward to when David Coulthard would drive down the Rajiv Gandhi Bandra-Worli Sea Link at blinding speeds in a Red Bull racing car on October 11.

The former F1 British driver was originally scheduled to perform innovative F1 show runs, including revving up to speeds of 320 kmph and doing 360 degree spins, in the "Red Bull Speed Link" last month before it got postponed due to the swine flu epidemic, a media release said today.

The 38-year-old Scot, a consultant this year with Red Bull after 14 active years on the F1 circuit, has won 13 Grand Prix races and finished on the podium on 62 occasions while representing Williams, McLaren and Red Bull.

Coulthard is the leading British driver, in terms of points scored (535 from 247 races starting 1994), in F1 history.

Ahead of this show-piece drive by Coulthard, Red Bull has scheduled a five-day line-up of events for the public, ranging from technical assembly of the car and firing up of its engine to showcasing the F1 car at two city malls, in Malad and Mulund, the release added.
