Probe sought into student’s suicide

GUNTUR: SFI, YSRSU, Navyandhra Vidhyarthi JAC and BC Vidhyarthi Sangham leaders on Thursday staged a protest demanding inquiry into the suicide of second-year Intermediate student P Chandrasekhar.
They demanded stern action against the management of NRI College at Regional Inspection office, Board of Intermediate Education in Guntur.

The student union leaders said the government has failed to take action against the management of corporate colleges and added that the phone number of RIO has not been been working for the last few days, thereby preventing students to lodge complaints against the management of corporate colleges.

SFI district secretary V Bhagwan Das, vice-president V Jyothi and city secretary Ch Manikumar, YSRSU district president P Chaitanya,  Navyandhra Vidhyarthi JAC leader Ayyarswamy, BC Vidhyarthi Sangham State president U Murali Krishna and others participated in the protest.
