BENGALURU: St Josepth’s College (autonomous), Bengaluru’s intra collegiate cultural festival ‘Pratibha 2017’ was held recently. The festival had multiple on and off stage events. Students showcased lyrical talent to blend thought to expression in the literary events. There were also theatre and other art and cultural programmes including musical and dance performances along with a FIFA gaming event. The festival came to an end with performances by Beat Gurus and Dj Ivan with a mix of contemporary and party music.

St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Bangalore, is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Karnataka with a history of more than 135 years. It has been conferred as College of Excellence by the University Grants Commission (India). It was awarded the highest rating, A (3.73/4), in the re-accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2007. It imparts graduate, post-graduate and research education. Together with its sister institutions, the St. Joseph’s Boys’ High School and the St. Joseph’s Indian High School, the St. Joseph’s College has staff to respond to the needs of more than 5000 students. The institution has four main buildings, located in the center of the Cantonment : St Joseph’s College of Commerce, St Joseph’s Institute of Management (previously St. Joseph’s College of Business Administration), St Joseph’s Evening College and Pre-University College located in the vicinity of St. Patrick’s Church and Good Shepherd Convent, St Joseph’s College, Bengaluru (previously St. Joseph’s College of Arts and Sciences) which is located on Langford Road near Richmond Circle.
