KOCHI: “Starting a business is always full risk, and you can afford to take that when you are young. It calls for a process of careful thought, calculation and clear aim. It’s always advisable to be in the company of likeminded people and potential partners.” This is the advice Bejoy Thomas, managing director of Cloud Corner Solutions Private Limited, wants to give to young entrepreneurs.
His company is a leading SAP consulting and training centre in Kochi, which provides configuration- oriented training in various SAP modules. “While working with consulting companies and implementing projects in the US, Europe, Mexico and South America, I always wanted to make use of my experience in India and provide consulting services with high standards, professionalism and ethics. Later, I met Jayamohan Radhakrishna who had same dream as mine. And, we started Cloud Corner Solutions,” Bejoy said.
He claimed that within a few months of its launch, the company became the first direct partners of SAP in Kerala. “We are now building a 30,000 sq ft state-of-the-art facility near the Sea-port Airport Road in Kochi, for product development and consulting work to the US and Middle East. The company will start its new Middle East operations by this year-end. We also plan to open new offices in Coimbatore and Chennai,” he said.
“Being a partner of SAP grants us access to their latest technologies. We also plan to expand globally in the near future, in association with our sister concern Try Process Technologies in Pensylvania, US. We anticipate an initial head count of 75 for 2014-2015, and intend to increase that number thereafter. By the first quarter of next year, we will primarily be focusing on Utilities and EAM project across all vertical Industries. We have a very strong team of SAPcertified technical and functional experts, who are handpicked from IT companies,” he reveals the ambitious expansion plans of the company.
“The greatest achievement of Cloud Corner Solutions was the Tier 1 Implementation Partnership with SAP. Though there are other SAP B1 partners in Kerala, Cloud Corner solutions achieved the distinction of becoming the first SAP direct Tier 1 partner for Kerala,” he said.
