The Airports Authority of India (AAI) today sought 28 acres of land from the district administration to expand the local airport.

Indore, Oct 25 (PTI) The Airports Authority of India (AAI) today sought 28 acres of land from the district administration to expand the local airport.

AAI Chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra held a meeting with the officials of district administration, the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) and the Indore Development Authority (IDA) in this regard.

"The authorities were positive about our demand. We have a plan to develop hotel and other facilities on the 28 acres which we have sought," Mohapatra told reporters after the meeting.
