Manappuram Finance net profit rises 12 per cent at Rs 556.5 crore on higher gold loan sales

The Kerala-based non-banking financier’s consolidated loan assets grew 21 per cent to Rs 44,932 crore this year, the company said in a statement.

MUMBAI: Manappuram Finance, a Kerala-based financial services firm, has reported a net profit of Rs 556.5 crore, which was 11.7 per cent higher as compared to the net profit for the same period in the previous year.

The Kerala-based non-banking financier’s consolidated loan assets grew 21 per cent to Rs 44,932 crore in the June quarter, the company said in a statement.

Sharing the earnings, its Chief Executive Officer VP Nandakumar said the company expects to achieve a significant 15 per cent growth in gold loan business alone in the September quarter.
