BANGALORE: Three people committed suicide under separate police station limits in the city, late on Thursday night.

Asha (29), committed suicide and left a death note holding one Lokesh, responsible. She was married to Gopi, a water supply contractor and was residing in Shakambarinagar, near Jayanagar South End Circle.

On Thursday, when Gopi returned from work, he found his wife hanging from the ceiling fan. Her death note accused Lokesh, a married man with two children.

Police suspect that the two might have had an illicit relationship and fearing that her husband might come know about the same, she committed suicide.

A case was registered at Jayanagar police station and investigation is on.

In another case registered at Rajagopalanagar, Manjunath (28), the driver of a private company cab, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan. Manjunath was married for a year now.

His wife Lakshmidevi (22), who works with a garment factory, after seeing him hanging from the fan, lodged a complaint at the Rajagopalanagar police station. Police said that no death note was found. Financial crisis is suspected to be the reason behind his extreme step.

In yet another incident, a 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence, due to financial crisis.

The deceased, Pavan, was a resident of Vijayanandanagar in Nandini Layout.

His wife Latha said that he was depressed in life, and that may have led him to take the extreme step. A case was registered at Nandini Layout police station. Investigation is on.
