Many students tend to hate mathematics. To prove this wrong, Bangalore-based Rega Interactive has introduced the Math Tables Karaoke, an iPhone application that makes math fun for kids.
This interesting application is a combination of math tables and cool graphics to make it fun and interactive to grab the attention of the kids. The app speaks out the tables with an option of two voices (both female, one Indian and another American). It also lets you record your own voice while you recite the tables, and play it back immediately.
The app uses proven pedagogy of memorising using the karaoke technique. Users can play in three modes—Learn, Quiz and Karaoke. It allows students to reinforce what they’ve just learned by reciting, recording and playing back the same multiplication tables. The user is free to recite along and can replay the table as many times as he or she needs.
The Math Tables Karaoke is currently available at $0.99.
