Man ends life after quarelling with wives

Mahesh,a 40-year-old auto driver committed suicide after his wives picked up a quarrel with him, accusing him of discriminatory behaviour.

Unable to bear harassment from two wives, a 40-year-old auto driver committed suicide by hanging at Azad playground in Malleswaram police station limits in the wee hours of Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Mahesh, a resident of Kurabarahalli. He was living in a rented house with his two wives and four children.

According to the police, the incident came to light in the morning when a passerby noticed the body and informed the police. Mahesh hanged himself from an iron rod in the playground. He was fed up with increasing expenses and the family was under financial difficulties. On Friday night his wives picked up a quarrel with him accusing him of discriminatory behaviour. Soon after that he took the extreme step, the police said.

The Malleswaram police have registered a case.
