CHENNAI: Valliammal Mat.Hr.Sec.School, Anna Nagar East, conducted its investiture ceremony on June 30, with the message ‘Leaders are Role Models’.
The office-bearers were elected and the badges presented to them by chief guest, R V Ramani, Technical Director of Kiran Chemicals. He lit the lamp of knowledge and commended the school management for creating such responsible citizens. He advised the students to utilise the opportunity to the full.
The proud leaders took their oath in the presence of Principal Geetha Ramasubramanian. Ilamparathi B, the School Pupil Leader, read the excellence report of 2013 and the list of activities to be taken up in 2014-2015 was read out. The students gave a dance performance and the programme came to a close after the thank you speech given by Murugesh M of Class 10.
