AIDSO opposes closure of 4,200 government schools

Vice president, AIDSO Karnataka, Chandrakala, urged the state government to take responsibility for strengthening government schools by providing basic infrastructure.

BENGALURU: Without addressing the reasons behind the decline in school enrollment, government has announced the closure of 4,200 schools with low enrollment, said representatives of All India Democratic Student’s Organisation (AIDSO) , protesting against the state government’s move on Tuesday.
