CHENNAI : Dr Ananntha Padmanabhachariar was honoured with the title ‘Pravachana Vachaspathi’ by former justice of High Court TN Vallinayagam at the 20th anniversary celebration of Sri V Narayana Iyer Memorial Trust held here on Sunday. Dr Ananntha Padmanabhachariar is a doyen in the field of Pravachanam. Other awardees are professor Veezhinathan who was awarded Dr Nalli Award, Jaya Srinivasan who was awarded GK Subramnaiya Iyer Award and Dr Premeela Gurumurthy Sankari Narayanan Award.
V Narayana Iyer was a well-known personality of the Madurai bar with philanthropic instincts helping the needy. Dr Nalli Kuppusamy Chetti, Dr TV Somanathan, Secretary to Chief Minister, Tamil Nadu, R Natraj, DGP/ Director - Tamil Nadu Fire Service and Narayana Vishwanath, Chairman of the trust were present at the occasion.
