CHENNAI: Want to be a RJ? Go shopping at Big Bazaar. In a bid to encourage talented youngsters who want to don the hat of an RJ, Hello FM, in collaboration with Big Bazaar, a part of the Future Group, organised an event on Wednesday at Big Bazaar, Express Avenue Mall. Titled ‘Just Try Pannunga’, the event saw customers flocking to the venue and trying their luck at being an RJ. Deepa Venkat, a popular RJ from Hello FM graced the occasion. The fun didn’t stop here, customers of Fashion at Big Bazaar also availed a discount of `75 on the purchase of `600. According to Jose Mathew, Store Manager of Big Bazaar, “This initiative will give customers a once in a life time opportunity to be an RJ for a show with Hello FM.
All customers who purchased at Big Bazaar were given a trial coupon to enter the RJ contest. Once chosen, they will be called for the first audition on July 18 at the Big Bazaar.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for the final auditions on July 24, which will be judged by an eminent panel of judges. The winner will then be selected to win a lifetime possibility of becoming a Radio Jockey with Hello FM. So head to Big Bazaar and well, you just might get lucky!
