CHENNAI: PMK president GK Mani has moved the Madras High Court with a plea for a direction to various ministries of the Union government to conduct all India common entrance examinations for admission to professional and technical courses in various central government institutions like IIT, IIM and NIT in Tamil also. The public interest writ petition came up for hearing on Friday before the second bench comprising Justices Elipe Dharma Rao and S Palanivelu and the central government standing counsel took notice. Ordering notice to the other respondents, the bench posted the matter after two weeks.
