Trailblazer award conferred on industrialist

According to Chozha Naachiar Rajasekar, president, Tamil Chamber of Commerce, the award is presented to an eminent industrialist from Tamil Nadu, who contributed to the growth of economy, industries and trade of the State (Tamil Nadu).

Stating that the award would be conferred on an industrialist every month under the same title, he said, “Our aim is to create awareness among the youngsters of the State to become entrepreneurs. Of late, there is a general tendency among the youth to scout for jobs, but we want them to take risks to become successful entrepreneurs.” The award would inspire the younger generation, he added.

Chozha Naachiar Rajasekar also stated that the award would be provided by the Tamil Chamber of Commerce in association with Sri Krishna Sweets. “The recipients of the award would deliver an inspirational speech every month, in a bid to encourage the youth to emerge as entrepreneurs,” he stated.

R M Veerappan, president, Chennai Kamban Kazhagam; Ramaswamy, director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Chennai; and M Murali, managing director, Sri Krishna Sweets were present on the occasion.
