CHENNAI: TOVO Infusions on R K Salai has been getting visitors from across the continent. The Indo-Western restaurant in town is a casual dining restaurant owned by London School of Economics graduate Arun P Bacthavatsalam, who broke down the science of food and studied the ideal way of cooking it so that it remained healthy and flavourful. He says TOVO cooks its food with its own flavour and broth without using oil and water. “Our journey over a year has been truly gratifying and we are thrilled to celebrate this milestone with our partners and customers,” said Bacthavatsalam, MD and CEO of TOVO Restaurants.

Customers are provided with a high level of customisation,  allowing them to choose the base, infusions, spices and level of seasoning.

To mark its first anniversary, TOVO started celebrations on September 6, where privilege customers were given a TOVO coin. These customers were given a special red-carpet welcome and a scrumptious on-the-house three-course meal.
