Pictures of Boy Burning Tricolour Go Viral

CHENNAI: A complaint has been filed against a youth who posted a picture of his burning the national flag, which went viral on Facebook and WhatsApp.

C R Naveen Kumar, a pilot, filed a complaint with police to take action against the youth. In the forwarded messages, Dhilipan Mahendran from Nagapattinam  is seen setting the flag on fire. Many have been sharing the image on Facebook and Whatsapp condemning what they termed as unpatriotic and antinational behaviour.

Some have even been sharing his cell phone number, and have raised the issue with the police through social media. The original post has since been taken down.
