CHENNAI: We are living in a world that is changing at a very fast pace. But are we capable of surviving in this complex changing world?

Keeping the current world scenario in mind, no country can claim that it will go on progressing regardless of what happens in other countries. We are so interdependent that no one can stay away from the intricate web.

The idea of universal brotherhood is in the larger interest of the world and its inhabitants, because today what we need is a global cooperation movement for a better endurance to survive the process of evolution. Today the question is not about survival of the fittest, but about surviving together under all kinds of predicament. Hence development with a humane touch is the only way to go about for a safe and peaceful future.

It might sound difficult, but it is not impossible because the world is on the right track. Down this long road, after having learnt to look at each other with empathy, we may urge the government, society and our leaders to lead the world on the path of togetherness and change.

Tomorrow, a nation’s power may not be judged by its military or economic strength, or by the splendour of capital cities and public edifices. A country will be judged by its adaptability acquired by spiritual understanding.

A country with large number of skyscrapers may not rule the world. Instead, a country with lofty ideals and a robust value system might take up the helm and serve humanity. With such optimistic expectations of our collective future, let us come together for the unique cause of global co-operation for a better, nonviolent, safe and secure world.
