Riding on R Rajagiri’s five-for, Thiruvallur District thrashed Tiruchirapalli by an innings and 26 runs in the quarterfinals of the TNCA inter-district U-16 tournament.

Brief scores: Tiruchirapalli 46 & 109 in 38 ovs (Sushil 3/36, R Rajagiri 5/16) lost to Thiruvallur 181 in 70.2 ovs (Arjun 43; Harirajan 3/33, Ajay 4/64).
