HYDERABAD: Irate fans of film star Ramcharan Tej went on the rampage at Aradhana theatre in Tarnaka today following delay in screening of `Magadheera’ by an hour due to some technical snag. The trouble began soon after the start of morning show. Just five minutes after the start of the show, screening of the film was stopped due to some technical snag in the sound system.

Some audience came out of the hall and demanded an explanation from the theatre management for the interruption.

When there was no `convincing’ reply from the management, they got angry and destroyed the window panes and the manager’s cabin. The OU police had to resort to mild lathicharge to disperse the angry mob. Based on a complaint by theatre manager Srinivas Reddy, the police registered a case. Four persons were reportedly taken into custody for ransacking furniture.
