After a hiatus of nearly six years, veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao is back to what he has been good at. Yes, he is going to direct a film titled Young India with new talent and his home production.

At a press meet at his residence recently, he said that after a long time he penned the script for the film. Dasari’s 149th directorial venture will have four new pairs playing the lead.

“From my experience the trend suggests all good films are not hit films and all hit films are not good either. Young India aims to break this trend. I want it to be a good film at the same time hopes to make it a hit as well,” he explained.

In the talent hunt launched so far, the film received over 15,000 applications and the director assigned the task of shortlisting the applications to his disciples-Kodi Ramakrishna, Raviraja Pinisetty, Suresh Krishna and Relangi Narasimha Rao. Suddala Ashok Teja and Ramakrishna Prasad were present on the occasion.
