HYDERABAD: The office of the Advocate General on Friday clarified that the facts and figures it gave on the percentage of lawyers in the government posts are correct. It refuted allegations by the Telangana Advocates JAC that the AG's office gave false information.

The Advocate General's Office also maintained that 'an impression is sought to be created in certain sections that the information given by the office is factually incorrect. It is clarified that the information given is strictly in accordance with the records and based on the claims of the persons appointed'.
