Express News Service

Days after his ‘inflammatory’ speech at Adilabad, an advocate from the city filed a petition before a court on Friday against MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus and also promoting enmity between the two communities.

An advocate from Kurmaguda, K Karunasagar filed a petition against Akbaruddin for making derogatory remarks against Hindu gods and goddess.

In his petition, Karunasagar said he found the speech posted on the internet.  “I was browsing internet when I saw a video on Youtube of the MLA addressing a public meeting at Nirmal in Adilabad district a few days back,’’ the petitioner said.
