3 IAS Officers Transferred

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government on Saturday transferred three IAS officers. Though a major reshuffle of IAS officers was on the cards after the recent transfer of a large number of IPS officers, the state government affected a minor revamp of the administration on Saturday. A major reshuffle is on the cards, officials said adding today’s transfer came in the wake of senior IAS officer Heera Lal Samariya going on Central deputation.

Heera Lal Samariya, a 1985 batch officer is presently Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Telangana. On his deputation to Central government, he would be appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Fisheries. Samariya will be going on a five year deputation to the Centre.

Meanwhile, V Anil Kumar, presently managing director of the State Civil Supplies Corporation, Hyderabad, has been  transferred and posted as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Hyderabad. Anil Kumar, however, will continue to hold full additional charge of the post of member Secretary, Telangana State Pollution Control Board, Hyderabad. The government placed 1993-batch officer, C Parthasarathi, who is the Commissioner, Civil Supplies and EO secretary to government, consumer affairs, food & civil supplies department in full additional charge of the post of managing director, State Civil Supplies Corporation, Hyderabad, till further orders.
