Hyderabad Pharmacists Oppose Bandh

HYDERABAD:The Greater Hyderabad Retail Medical Shops Association has announced that it is not supporting the call for  medical shops bandh across the state on September 28. The association has said they will hold discussions to solve problems such as checks by Telangana Drug Control Administration and temporary suspension of licences. On Monday The Telangana Chemists and Druggists Association announced that nearly 25,000 medical shops would be shut for a day on September 28 in protest against continuous checks by the Drug Control Administration (DCA) against sale of Schedule H and H1 drugs without prescription.  The press conference held by the Greater Hyderabad Retail Medical Shops Association at the Somajiguda Press Club on Wednesday brought out the differences between the two associations.
