HYDERABAD: A few officials from an Islamic girls’ school in Hyderabad came together on Thursday to announce the graduation of their 309 women students.
The head and founder of Jamiatul Mominat (the school) Mufti Hasanddin, and Hafiz Mastan Ali, along with the president of reception committee, Syed Noor Qadri announced to celebrate the achievement at the 26th State-level Women’s Tarbiyati Itjema (training gathering) and Annual Day function will be organised by them at Royal Function Hall, Kotla Alijah on Sunday. Ironically, not even one woman accompanied them at the press meet on Thursday.
Moreover, in the gathering to promote the education of women, which will see the participation of women scholars and professors from across countries, strict purdah instruction have been issued by the organisers. Deputy CM Mahmood Ali, who will be the chief guest at the programme, will address the women.
Fazil, the women will be felicitated with at the programme, is an eight year course. The school that caters to 2,500 girls also provides hostel facility to 300 students.
Hasanddin Ali said that the medium of instruction was Urdu and apart from educating the girls about Islam, the school also teaches them Science, Social Science, Maths and English.
