HYDERABAD: In what is suspected to be a celebration going awry, a youngster died after falling from the Hi-Tech city flyover when he reportedly attempted to climb the railing by jumping out of a moving car in a highly inebriated condition on his 23rd birthday.

Garugu Shobanadri Reddy (23) was celebrating his birthday with his friend Vishnu. After partying and drinking at the Revolt Bar at Jubilee Hills, the duo left in their car with Shobanadri taking the wheel.  As he was driving in a rash manner, Vishnu made his stop the car near Madhapur and called their two other friends to drive them home. While waiting for their friends to arrive, Shobanadri Reddy allegedly created nuisance on the road by shouting at passersby.  Later, when the car was on the Hi-Tech flyover, Shobanadri suddenly applied the handbrake. Later, he opened the car door and jumped out of the car and tried to climb the railing at which point he fell from the bridge. The police are also suspecting that the youth could have also jumped intentionally as he was unable to clear the backlogs.
