MAcare facility opens on Saturday

KOCHI: MAcare Diagnostics Centre and International Dental Hospital, a venture of Manappuram Group, will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Agriculture K V Thomas  on Saturday. P C Chacko MP will be present at the function.

Manappuram Group, under the brand name ‘MAcare’, is setting up a chain of sophisticated diagnostics labs, medical and dental clinics and pharmacy outlets in the state.

The facility at Kaloor, set up over 17,000 sqft of fully air-conditioned space, is claimed to be the largest and most sophisticated of its kind in Kerala. The centre offers a triple test-ultrasound scan, mammogram and fine-needle aspiration cytology. Equipped with a high-performance, imported mammography machine, the centre also offers fully automated microbiology, biochemistry and pathology labs and Digital x-ray.

“The dental hospital is equipped with a state-of-the-art operation theatre to offer the full range of dental specialities including maxillofacial surgeries,” Manappuram Group Chairman V P Nandakumar said at a press conference. “A Super Speciality Medical Centre will also come up at the centre soon,” he added.
