KOCHI: The Indian Medical Association is organising a workshop on ethics in medical field from July 30 at the IMA Hall, Kaloor.

Organ transplantation, the relation between doctors and pharma companies, rights of doctors and patients, infertility, professional privacy and surrogate advertisements in the medical field are the main topics of discussion at the workshop.  Apart from the national leaders of the IMA, prominent figures in legal fraternity, including judges, social activists and media critics will present papers.

 Doctors from across the country will also take part.

Health Minister Adoor Praksh will inaugurate the workshop and IMA president Dr Vinay Agarwal will preside over the function. Finance Minister K M Mani will deliver keynote address at the valedictory function on July 31.
