Online release of ‘Akkarakaazhchakal’ on Monday

For the first time in the history of Malayalam cinema, a movie will have online release. The film Akkarakaazhchakal, based on the famous TV serial with the same title, will be released online on Monday. The film can  be viewed with the help of credit or debit cards which is accepted by Paypal. “The TV series which were aired on Kairali TV and later became popular through YouTube were conceptualised, written and directed by Ajayan Venugopal and Abi Varghese.Based on the positive feedback from the show, we decided to make a movie based on the series,” said executive producer of the movie Christopher John.

The screenplay is written by Ajayan Venugopal. As in the TV series, the film will have the  same cast and crew The film is produced by BoM TV, a US based Internet TV provider.

The film will be available on BoM TV setup boxes and at www.bestofmalayalam.com, the web edition of BoM TV. The film will be available online from 7 pm on December 24. Once the viewer make the payment, the film will be available for 24 hours.
